Craig David Interview
View as published at NG Magazine
"Whatever happened to the award-winning megastar Craig David? After scoring top ten hits with Seven Days, Fill Me In and the Artful Dodger collaboration Rewind in the early noughties, it seemed as if Craig had hit his creative peak before disappearing into the musical wilderness. But now that he's back, wouldn't you like to know exactly what he's been upto?
A hit collaboration with grime MC Kano on This Is The Girl saw Craig bouncing back with his fourth studio album Trust Me. The first single Hot Stuff hit the top ten and Craig is hoping for similar success with his follow-up 6 Of 1 Thing, released on February 18.
In this series of podcasts for NG Magazine, Craig David talks to Alex Ward about what he got up to during his time away from the music scene, recording his new album in Havana and how Cuban culture now permeates his fresh musical outlook. Follow the links below to listen to the interview."

Jonathan Ansell Interview (Lead Singer of X-Factor's G4)
View as published at NG Magazine
"Classical-pop combo G4 hit the headlines late last year after a series of blazing rows left the group teetering on the brink of collapse. Music industry whispers about 'yet another X Factor outfit biting the dust' began and the most successful group to ever have emerged from the reality show looked to be over. Sure enough, news of the split was soon confirmed, but it didn't mean the end for one member.
Jonathan Ansell promptly signed a £1million record deal and is releasing his first solo album on 18th February, Tenor At The Movies.
In this podcast for NG Magazine, Jonathan talks to Alex Ward about the highs and lows of his career to date and what the future holds. Follow the link below to listen to the interview."

Preview | Juno
View as published at NG Magazine
Dubbed as this year's Little Miss Sunshine, Juno is the story of a pregnant teenager’s struggle to prepare for a future that is only nine months away. Even though watching this film may sound like a heavy experience, the acting and dialogue is light, witty and effervescent, which all go some way towards explaining why Juno is being touted as a worldwide smash-hit.
It stars Ellen Page (Hard Candy, 2005) as central character Juno, and Michael Cera (Superbad, 2007) as father-to-be Paulie. Cameos include those of Jennifer Garner; one half of a couple desperately-seeking-spawn, and Rainn Wilson (Office USA, 2005-07) as Rollo the shop keeper. Trailers and teasers tell us to expect a film packed full of comedy, but with deeply developed characters.
Juno is said to be this year's Little Miss Sunshine because it's being aired for free, ahead of the cinema release, on US movie channels. The move is expected to generate increased interest through word-of-mouth recommendations, the same marketing route that proved so successful for Little Miss Sunshine.
Juno is set for general cinema release in the UK on Friday February 8 2008. Look out for NG Magazine's review of this highly anticipated film.
